You can use MMO background tracks in your
own recordings!
You can license any composition in our
catalogue to make a compact disc recording featuring your own
voice or instrument. We offer the singer or musician the
opportunity to create something of great worth and lasting
value. As audition material to submit to agents, talent
scouts and schools, these recordings are absolutely the best,
easiest and least expensive way to get their attention.
Measured against the cost of hiring
players, arrangers and a studio—which are truly
astonishing—these prices are a true bargain. Remember also, your
best efforts will be showcased through the advantage of working
with familiar material that remains unchanging take after take,
until you get the version you want.
Fees for licensing music from the MMO
Catalogue for the making of personal recordings shall be at the
rate of $100.00 per minute with any overage of time prorated as
to the actual length of time of the composition.
Accordingly, a four-minute composition
would cost $400.00 to license based upon this formula.
Fees are payable in advance via
credit card: Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover.

A maximum of 1,000 copies may be made
under our usual terms and conditions. You may not transfer these
rights to third parties. The license is for a period of three
years. Beyond the three-year initial term, all rights to these
copyright tracks revert to Music Minus One. There is an added
sell-off period for CDs of one year beyond the initial
three-year term. Yes, licenses are available for larger initial
press runs.
Licensing of our background tracks does
not include permission or mechanical fees required by the
publisher(s) of any copyrighted compositions you may use. We
will provide this information with our license.

tracks, please submit the information requested below:

2. How will the track(s) be used?

3. Your full legal name, address,
phone and fax number if available. plus an e-mail address to
enable us to respond swiftly to questions.
Upon receipt of your order (song titles,
etc) including prepayment for the entire order, a paid invoice
will be issued along with a contract outlining the usages above
listed.
Public Performances: Please write for
information, listing all details of use.
For other formats, such as advertising,
TV, Radio and Film usage, please contact us. Provide specific
written details as to the desire usage. Special fees exist for
such commercial applications.
